At CES 2025, HP revealed three exciting new additions to its EliteBook series, all powered by Intel’s latest processors. These include the EliteBook Ultra G1i, EliteBook X G1i, and EliteBook X Flip G1i, catering to a broad range of users, from those seeking premium performance to those needing versatile 2-in-1 flexibility. All three laptops feature Intel Core Ultra chips, designed to excel at AI processing, ensuring speed and efficiency.
HP is positioning these new EliteBooks as AI-powered PCs. While this aligns with the industry trend of integrating AI into every new device, it's also a core feature, thanks to the Intel Core Ultra 5 and 7 processors. These chips are specifically designed with three dedicated compute engines for handling on-device AI tasks. All three models come equipped with Copilot+ technology, enabling them to process AI tasks at 48 TOPS (trillion operations per second), ensuring impressive performance for everything from video calls to real-time data processing.
These new EliteBooks are designed for high performance, with configurations offering 16GB or 32GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of SSD storage. Whether for professional work, creative projects, or intensive multitasking, these laptops are built to handle the most demanding tasks.

The EliteBook Ultra G1i stands as the premium model in this lineup. It boasts a 3K OLED display, a 9MP webcam, and a haptic touchpad, making it an ideal choice for professionals who demand top-tier performance and visuals.
The non-touch model weighs just 2.63 pounds (1.2 kg), while the touch model is slightly heavier at 2.68 pounds (1.2 kg). The haptic touchpad, similar to Apple's MacBook, provides a "click" experience without actual physical movement, creating a seamless, consistent feel across the entire surface.
The EliteBook X G1i and EliteBook X Flip G1i offer more flexibility, catering to users who need a laptop with a versatile form factor.
Both models feature a 5MP webcam, which, while lower resolution than the Ultra G1i’s, still offers solid performance for video calls and conferencing.
