Samsung unveiled the Galaxy F36 5G in India on 19 July.
The device measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs 197 grams. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. While no official information is available regarding ingress protection, it is assumed to have an IP67 rating similar to the Galaxy A36.

The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a hybrid dual Nano-SIM slot, and a microSD card slot. It runs on the Samsung Exynos 1380 chipset, which comprises a 2.4GHz Quad Cortex-A78 and a 2.0GHz Quad Cortex-A55 CPU, paired with a Mali-G68 MP5 GPU. RAM options include 6GB and 8GB, with 128GB of expandable internal storage. Connectivity features include SA/NSA Sub-6 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and GLONASS. The device comes preloaded with Android 15 and One UI 7, incorporating various AI-driven features.
The rear camera system consists of a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with optical image stabilization and 4K video recording, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. The front camera is a 13MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, also capable of 4K video capture.

The Galaxy F36 5G is available through Samsung’s India online store and Flipkart in Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black with a faux leather finish. Pricing starts at INR 17,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant and INR 18,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. Launch offers include a INR 1,000 instant discount on all bank cards and a INR 500 coupon discount, bringing the starting price down to INR 15,999.
